Three Verses and one
thing they remind me of.

“Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD. He will be like a bush in the wastelands; he will not see prosperity when it comes. He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives. But BLESSED is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in HIM. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” — Jeremiah 17: 5-8

Three GREAT verses that produced these few abstract and somewhat random thoughts…

These verses remind me of a lot of people’s dependency upon the government. Those who live a life closely modeled after these verses seem to be attacked because they do so and in return have things taken from them in order to give to those who don’t live their lives the same way.

Why punish those who work hard, work smart, are proactive and responsible with their money to give to those who don’t possess the same qualities? This IS the land of opportunity! go out and capitalize on that.

Unfortunately a lot of individuals are too concerned about the masses and not their own lives, they want to tear down and take away from those who achieve because they don’t feel like they are capable of doing the same.

The great men who founded this country would be absolutely ashamed of how irresponsible INDIVIDUALS have become. Buckminster Fuller coined the phrase “Think global, act local.” It’s ok to think about the masses but the responsibility and solution doesn’t start w/ the Gov’t or local community but with each and every INDIVIDUAL.

Stop relying on the government and tap into your own God given talent and ability.

Everyone ON EARTH was created to do great things…go do them!

David Wright’s Helmet

Yeah, it’s a little silly looking but if I were hit in the head by
a mid 90’s fastball AND survived it, I’d consider wearing it too.
